At a glance

This website is intentionally simple. It has no contact form, account, booking flow, payment page, analytics, advertising, or tracking pixels. It sets no cookies. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send. Our web server also creates routine technical logs needed to deliver and protect the site.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Of The Heart (“Of The Heart,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit oftheheart.one, follow its links, or contact us by email.

This policy applies only to the Of The Heart website and our direct email communications. It does not govern Heram Al Noor or any other website, venue, facilitator, payment provider, or third-party service. Their own policies apply when you interact with them.

This policy describes the informational Phase 1 website as it exists on the effective date. We will update it before adding registration, applications, booking, payment, newsletters, analytics, advertising, or other features that collect additional information.

2. Information handled when you visit

Information you choose to provide

The website does not contain a form and does not ask you to create an account. If you use an email link to contact us, we receive your email address and any name, message, attachments, or other information you choose to include. We use that information to read and answer your message, discuss Of The Heart gatherings, maintain appropriate business records, and protect our legal rights.

Please do not send medical records, diagnoses, payment card numbers, government identification numbers, passwords, or other highly sensitive information by ordinary email. Email is not a secure channel for urgent, confidential, or emergency communications.

Routine technical logs

Like most websites, the hosting server and security systems may automatically record limited technical information when a request reaches the site. This may include your Internet Protocol address, date and time of the request, requested page or file, referring page, browser and device information, response status, and information associated with errors or suspected abuse.

We use these records to deliver the website, diagnose problems, measure basic operational reliability, prevent abuse, investigate security events, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use server logs to create advertising profiles or track you across unrelated websites.

3. Cookies, local storage, and tracking

The current public website sets no cookies and uses no browser local storage. It does not use analytics, advertising technology, session recording, social-media pixels, fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking.

The site serves its own scripts, styles, fonts, and images. It does not load third-party embeds or third-party tracking content.

Because we do not sell personal data, use it for targeted advertising, or perform covered profiling, the current site does not offer a sale or targeted-advertising opt-out. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals do not change the site’s behavior because the site does not perform those activities.

4. How we use information

We use the limited information described in this policy to:

  • provide, maintain, and troubleshoot the website;
  • secure the website and investigate suspected abuse or attacks;
  • respond when you email us;
  • communicate about gatherings or questions you raise;
  • keep records reasonably needed for operations, dispute resolution, and legal compliance;
  • enforce our Website Terms; and
  • comply with law, court orders, and valid legal process.

We will not use information for a materially different purpose without updating this policy and obtaining consent when applicable law requires it.

5. How information may be disclosed

We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data for targeted advertising, and we do not have data-broker relationships.

We may disclose limited information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. Hosting, infrastructure, security, and email providers may process information only as needed to provide services to us.
  • At your direction. We may share information when you ask or authorize us to do so.
  • Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law or valid legal process, or is necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of Of The Heart, our visitors, or others.
  • Business changes. Information may be reviewed or transferred as part of a proposed or completed merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate confidentiality protections.

We do not authorize service providers to use personal information from this site for their own advertising.

6. Retention

We retain routine server and security logs only for as long as reasonably needed for operations, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, security, and legal compliance. Actual log periods may also depend on the hosting provider’s backup and security practices.

If you email us, we retain the message and related correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to answer you, manage our relationship, maintain business records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Backup copies may remain for a limited additional period until they are overwritten through normal backup cycles.

When information is no longer reasonably needed, we delete it or allow it to be removed through routine retention and backup processes, subject to legal preservation requirements.

7. Security

We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information handled through this site. These include restricted administrative access, encrypted HTTPS connections in production, security headers, software maintenance, and access controls at the hosting layer.

No website, server, or email system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use care when deciding what to send by email. If we learn of a security incident involving personal information, we will investigate and provide any notices required by applicable law.

8. Your privacy choices and requests

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about you, provide access to it, correct it, delete it, or explain how it has been used or disclosed. You may also ask us to review a decision about a privacy request.

Send a request to hello@oftheheart.one with the subject line “Privacy Request.” Describe what you are asking us to do and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant correspondence or record. We may need to verify that the request relates to you before acting. We will not discriminate against you for making a privacy request.

Texas residents may have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, subject to the law’s scope and exceptions. These may include rights to know whether personal data is processed, access it, correct it, delete it, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of certain sale, targeted-advertising, or profiling activities. Of The Heart does not currently engage in those opt-out activities. If we deny an applicable request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. If an appeal is denied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General.

Residents of other jurisdictions may have additional rights. We will handle requests in accordance with the law that applies to the request and our operations.

9. Children

This website is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. The site has no form or account through which a child can submit information. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will review the request and delete information when required.

10. Visitors outside the United States

Of The Heart operates in Texas, United States. The site is hosted and administered from the United States, and information described in this policy may be processed and stored there. If you access the site from another country, its privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website, services, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top will identify the current version. If a change is material, we will provide notice appropriate to the nature of the change before it takes effect when required by law.
