What to expect

Ceremony, conversation, and the land.

  • An opening ceremony with cacao and heart-centered sharing
  • Daily meals prepared with love and intention
  • Deep conversation, vulnerability, and community
  • Hikes, the hot tub, and time in nature
  • Music, instruments, and ritual
  • A closing ceremony

What you’re walking into

Five days. One circle, closing.

Every group takes its own shape, so this is the arc rather than a schedule.

  1. 1

    Day 1: Arrive & Connect

You’ll land, off your phone and out of your head, into a welcome that includes cacao and a container built to hold whatever you bring with you. From there, something shifts fast: you realize you’re not the only man in the room carrying what you thought was yours alone.

  2. 2

Day 2: Body & Mirror Work

Movement and breath bring you back into your body, and mirror work names what you’ve kept hidden in front of men who recognize it instantly. What loses its grip once it’s spoken is hard to describe until you’ve felt it.

  3. 3

    Day 3: Anger & Light

Anger gets a room of its own, not to unleash it, but to release and understand what it’s actually protecting. What follows is the payoff: rediscovering the man you are when nobody’s watching and nothing’s performed.

  4. 4

Day 4: Purpose, Manhood & Celebration

An honest look at what you’re building your life around, and a conscious choice about the man you’re actually becoming. The day closes the way real work deserves to close: witnessed, honored, and celebrated.

  5. 5

Day 5: Closing Ceremony & Brotherhood After

The retreat ends, but the brotherhood doesn’t. We build the structure that keeps this alive long after you head home.

Who it’s for

Willingness is the only qualification.

You don’t need prior retreat experience, or the words yet for what’s been sitting in your chest. You need to be willing to show up, stay present, and let yourself be seen, even when it’s uncomfortable.

Stories

In their words

I found Brotherhood of the Heart to be deeply transformational. I attended this retreat and it was refreshing to experience a sense of pure camaraderie between me and the brothers, and I will forever be appreciative for having experienced my first ceremony. Heram Al Noor retreat center was such a beautiful setting inside and out. I would recommend this retreat to absolutely anyone and a special thanks to Mani and Ben!!

Adam · Brotherhood of the Heart

Ben has been an inspiration and a source of connection and love in my life. Ben facilitated my journey and I felt deeply safe in his presence. It was a healing experience that I will never forget.

Diego · Ben

I did a retreat with Ben. I was amazed by the attention to detail and intentionality that was put into the experience. Before the ceremony there was a lot of thought that went in to getting prepared and comfortable for the experience. During was extremely powerful and full of wonder and awe and reverence. I learned a lot of powerful lessons and healed tremendously. There was ample time for integration and some great exercises to help integrate. Overall, the experience was a major catalyst for me and definitely a part of my emotional-spiritual growth journey that I continue to look back on as a major contributor to my development and growth.

Questions

Before you ask

Read all questions and answers

Is there any specific criteria I need to meet to participate? Do I need prior experience?

No. No previous retreat or inner-work experience is required. All we ask is that you come with an open heart and mind, ready to be honest, open up, and connect.

We do ask that you not be in active crisis when you arrive. If you are going through something recent and raw, please get professional support in place first; this retreat can be part of your path, but it is not equipped to be your only support in an emergency.

Can I come alone?

Yes, absolutely. Most men do. If you’re coming with a friend and would like to room together, just let us know.

What’s provided?

Everything you need for daily living is provided: towels, bedding, soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, just as you’d expect from any hotel room, plus a small coffee maker in each room. All meals, food, and snacks are taken care of.

What’s the refund policy?

Life happens, and plans change. Our cancellation policy is tiered by how far ahead of the retreat you cancel:

60 or more days before the retreat: full refund. 30 to 59 days before: 70% of your booking fee is refundable. Less than 30 days before: your booking fee is non-refundable, but not lost; you may roll your full payment into credit toward a future Brotherhood of the Heart retreat, valid for 12 months.

Because our retreats are small and intimate by design, a single cancellation is felt by the whole group. These options exist so a change in your plans doesn’t have to mean losing what you’ve already invested, while still protecting the container for the men who are ready to show up.

What are my payment options?

Pay in full: cover your ticket and room together at registration and save $100 on the total.

Pay in installments: reserve your place with your ticket, then split your room payment into two installments, the first due 90 days before the retreat and the second due 30 days before.

Feel the pull?

Tell us a little about where you are. We’ll share what we know about the next gathering and answer anything you want to ask before you decide.
